How Do I Strategize With Clients?

Depending on what a client wants to accomplish – I generally have a road map that we use to create a plan of action to accomplish results. I want to first gain a clear picture of a clients goals and what they ‘think’ the top priorities are. There’s a lot of misconception about how to make a web site profitable – so getting those ideas cleared up and getting a client on the same page with me is usually step number one.

After they understand the process we should follow – we start thinking about how best to implement the pieces of the puzzle – because for each client it is different. Perhaps they are speakers, and launching will depend on that, perhaps they have a new book coming out, perhaps they want speaking engagements first. All of this depends on how we will launch their new online business. Be sure to take those things to your new VA if you have just started working with one – it will make a difference.

By knowing the 30,000 foot view of what is going on in my clients’ life and business – I can more effectively develop a plan of action to accomplish goals for them.

Every month we role out a new M.A.P (monthly action plan) as a small reminder of where the focus is this month and where we will be headed in the next month.
